Pastor Paul J. James
Rev. Paul J. James is a native and lifelong resident of the Greater Philadelphia area. He graduated from Overbrook High School's Music Magnet Program and The Settlement Music School, which led to an Opera Theater Scholarship to Temple University. While studying Vocal Performance at Temple, Rev. James obtained several scholarships and awards for musical excellence.
After receiving his call to the ministry, Rev. James continued his education under scholarship at Cairn University where he received dual degrees in Bible and Music. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College.
Rev. James enjoys a very diverse and broad-based ministry to God's people. He is a dynamic pastor-teacher, songwriter, seminar and workshop speaker and budding author. Rev. James' goal in ministry is to inspire God's people to reach their full potential in Christ.
Rev. James serves as a missional leader on the global stage. He is an active ministry consultant deeply committed to empowering and mobilizing pastors and spiritual leaders around the world through prayer, counseling, fathering, and mentoring. He also serves as guest chaplain for several NFL teams.
Rev. James is the Board Chairman of CareView International (CVI) and Lead Pastor of CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, PA. He is the loving husband of Christine and the devoted father of their three adult children - Jason, Joshua, and Janine.
Pastor Christine James
Christine James attended Eastern College in Saint David’s PA, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with emphasis in Christian Counseling. Further study led her to Villanova University, where she obtained a master’s degree in counseling education.
She has enjoyed an extensive career in various corporate settings as a counselor, Human Resources Manager, Trainer and consultant. While performing in these diverse roles, Mrs. James has had the opportunity to impact the lives of many as she has motivated and challenged people to both professional and personal growth.
Mrs. James has served with her husband as a Leader to the International Prayer Movement. Through this ministry, they have sought to gather Pastors, Pastors Wives and Christian Leaders from around the world for the purpose of prayer, renewal and global harvest. Her gifts also include curriculum planning and design, which she facilitates in a variety of settings including Weekly Bible Studies, Marriage Conferences, and retreats, as well as both Individual and Family Counseling. Mrs. James is currently writing on her own blog A Word At The Well, where she helps women of all ages by addressing topics such as faith, relationships, and health. CareView Community Church remains the base from which Mrs. James executes her ministry. Kingdom ministry is the motivator for all of the James family endeavors.
Mrs. James is the wife of Pastor Paul J. James, Lead Pastor of the CareView Community Church and the mother of three adult children, Jason, Joshua and Janine, and two lovely daughters in-law – Tiara and Jantra. She currently resides in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania
Pastor Stacey Harcum
Worship and Arts Pastor
Pastor Stacey Harcum, born and raised in Philadelphia, resides in Upper Darby, PA. He is well noted in the music industry for his versatility as a musician, song writer and vocal arranger. His secular music career took a dramatic turn when he had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and was exposed to his true purpose in life to exhort and restore the people of God to the Biblical mandate of worship. Pastor Stacey Harcum is called to build a bridge between God and musicians of all genres of music back to the heart of God. He is a dedicated servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and serves as pastor of Worship and Arts at CareView Community Church. Pastor Stacey Harcum is also CEO of MissionZ In Music and he released his first solo project, Soul Exposed in July 2013.
Stacey married the pearl of his life, Karen Ann on August 15, 1992. Together, they are the parents of two wonderful children, a son, Stacey Jaleel and a daughter, Lael Ann. Stacey has been faithful to love his wife the way Christ loves the church, and he has been faithful to nurture and admonish his family. They currently reside in Upper, PA.
Pastor Michael Williams
Pastor Michael Williams has served as an Associate Pastor at CareView since 1997. He is a graduate of Cairn University with a Bachelors in Bible. In May of 2000, he completed a Master of Science in Christian Counseling, also from Cairn University. Since completing his studies, Pastor Williams has done extensive work in addiction services and has been a caseworker with homeless men in Philadelphia. In addition to this he has worked as a therapist in both outpatient and residential settings providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescent males with substance abuse, co-occurring mental health disorders, PTSD, and sexual behavior problems.
Pastor Williams specializes in working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma and is affiliated with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. He is currently nearing the completion of a Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Trauma Studies at Chestnut Hill College. Pastor Williams also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern University.
Pastor Williams has served CareView in a number of capacities through preaching, teaching, counseling, discipleship, preparation and training of ministry leaders, and missions. He has a heart for people and desires for them to be all that they can be and reach their full potential in the Lord.
Pastor Williams currently lives in Upper Darby, PA with his wife Carla. They have been married since July 1994 and have been blessed with three sons Anthony, David, and Stephen
