"Over the past 25 plus years of my pastoral ministry, several visitors have sat upon the brown couch in my office to share their hurts, challenges, losses and victories with me. But the brown coach is no longer just a piece of furniture - it is now a dimension of being. It is a place of introspection and retrospection, deconstruction and reconstruction. It is a safe place of rest and a willing workshop for crafting a better self.
