PASTOR PAUL J. JAMES
Senior Pastor
Rev. Paul J. James is a native and lifelong resident of the Greater Philadelphia area. He graduated from Overbrook High School's Music Magnet Program and The Settlement Music School, which led to an Opera Theater Scholarship to Temple University. While studying Vocal Performance at Temple, Rev. James obtained several scholarships and awards for musical excellence. After receiving his call to the ministry, Rev. James continued his education under scholarship at Cairn University where he received dual degrees in Bible and Music. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College. Rev. James enjoys a very diverse and broad-based ministry to God's people. He is a dynamic pastor-teacher, songwriter, seminar and workshop speaker and budding author. Rev. James' goal in ministry is to inspire God's people to reach their full potential in Christ. Rev. James serves as a missional leader on the global stage. He is an active ministry consultant deeply committed to empowering and mobilizing pastors and spiritual leaders around the world through prayer, counseling, fathering, and mentoring. He also serves as guest chaplain for several NFL teams. Rev. James is the Board Chairman of CareView International (CVI) and Lead Pastor of CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, PA. He is the loving husband of Christine and the devoted father of their three adult children - Jason, Joshua, and Janine.
PASTOR CHRISTINE JAMES
Vision Pastor
Christine James attended Eastern College in Saint David’s PA, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with emphasis in Christian Counseling. Further study led her to Villanova University, where she obtained a master’s degree in counseling education. She has enjoyed an extensive career in various corporate settings as a counselor, Human Resources Manager, Trainer and consultant. While performing in these diverse roles, Mrs. James has had the opportunity to impact the lives of many as she has motivated and challenged people to both professional and personal growth. Mrs. James has served with her husband as a Leader to the International Prayer Movement. Through this ministry, they have sought to gather Pastors, Pastors Wives and Christian Leaders from around the world for the purpose of prayer, renewal and global harvest. Her gifts also include curriculum planning and design, which she facilitates in a variety of settings including Weekly Bible Studies, Marriage Conferences, and retreats, as well as both Individual and Family Counseling. Mrs. James is currently writing on her own blog A Word At The Well, where she helps women of all ages by addressing topics such as faith, relationships, and health. CareView Community Church remains the base from which Mrs. James executes her ministry. Kingdom ministry is the motivator for all of the James family endeavors. Mrs. James is the wife of Pastor Paul J. James, Lead Pastor of the CareView Community Church and the mother of three adult children, Jason, Joshua and Janine, and two lovely daughters in-law – Tiara and Jantra. She currently resides in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania
PASTOR MICHAEL WILLIAMS
Associate Pastor
Pastor Michael Williams (Pastor Mike) was born and raised in West Philadelphia and was educated in the Philadelphia School system. He graduated from West Philadelphia High School and later enrolled at Cairn University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Bible in 1994, and his Masters of Science in Christian Counseling in 2000. He later went on to complete a Masters Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Studies at Chestnut Hill College. He has diverse experiences in the field of mental health and has done extensive work in substance abuse, both as a caseworker and a therapist in outpatient and residential settings. He has also provided individual, family, and group therapy to adolescent and adult males with substance abuse disorders, co-occurring disorders, and sexual behavior problems. Pastor Mike is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. He is affiliated with the International Institute for Addiction and Trauma Professionals (IITAP) and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate. He has extensive work experience in providing trauma-informed therapeutic services to a variety of populations. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA.
Pastor Mike has served as an Associate Pastor at CareView since 1997. Over the years, he has served CareView in a number of capacities through preaching, teaching, counseling, discipleship, preparation, and training of ministry leaders, and in foreign missions. He has a calling to guide and assist individuals to overcome life traumas and difficulties in order for them to be able to reach their full potential in the Christ.
Pastor Mike currently lives in the greater Philadelphia area with his wife Carla. They have been married since 1994 and are blessed with three sons Anthony, David, and Stephen, and a new granddaughter, Malayah Aaliyah.
